About this listing
The DGT is David Grissom's PRS signature electric guitar, where DGT stands for "David Grissom Trem". This guitar features a patented PRS bridge that offers ergonomics and tuning stability, PRS Phase III Locking tuners that help make the guitar more resonant and PRS DGT pickups suitable for rhythms and solos with a Texas-style voice. Moons inlays, Dark Cherry Burst color. The DGT (David Grissom Trem) is the result of more than 20 years of collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and David Grissom. The DGT is based on the McCarty platform, but features a specially designed neck shape, higher frets, special pickups and a revised control layout. Grissom and Paul spent more than a year comparing different pickups before getting the vintage tone offered by the DGT Humbuckers. Separate volume controls and Push/Pull tone knob give this guitar versatility."The DGT is a product a lot of miles down the road: a lot of gigs, a lot of records. It's like picking up a vintage guitar. It sounds like a vintage guitar, and out of the box it's ready to go. There's a whole lot of thought gone into this. The DGT is pretty perfect to me." - David Grissom.Brand: PRSCategory: Strat type Electric GuitarsSeries: Signature SeriesConstruction: SolidbodyTop wood: MapleBody Wood: MahoganyTop Carve: ViolinFinish: High Gloss NitroNeck/Body Assembly: SetColoring: Dark Cherry BurstNumber of keys: 22Scale: 25"Neck wood: MahoganyNeck Construction: One-PieceTruss Rod: PRS Double-ActingNeck shape: DGTFingerboard Wood: RosewoodFingerboard Radius: 10"Fingerboard Inlays: MoonsHeadstock Logo: Signature, DecalBridge: PRS Patented Tremolo, Gen IIITuners: Phase III with faux bone keysHardware: NickelNut: BoneTruss Rod Cover: "DGT"Bridge pickup: DGTNeck pickup: DGTPickup Controls: Volume, Volume, Tone Push/Pull, 3-way Toggle SwitchStrings: PRS Signature 11-49 (with G-G coated)Tuning: Standard (6 strings) E, A, D, G, B, ECase: Hardshell CaseSignature model David Grissom
