Overview
The Neumann M 147 is a large diaphragm tube/solid-state hybrid condenser microphone that tips its hat to the iconic vintage Neumann sound while offering up incredibly wide frequency response and extremely low noise. Starting with the classic K 47 capsule form the U 47 and U 47 fet microphones, the M 147 employs a unique amplifier circuit with tube impedance conversion and a solid-state, transformerless output as in the award-winning M 149. Great for intimate vocals that need some extra size as well as any acoustic instruments you can throw at it, the M 147 will be a staple in your high-end mic locker for decades to come.
