The reissue of the iconic guitar amplifier comes with upgrades such as an improved clean channel, while the basic character remains true to the original. The two channels "Orange" and "Red" offer extensive sounds ranging from Clean to crunch to aggressive high-gain voicings, giving the Dual Rectifier 90s 2-Channel a versatile sound palette that can serve all styles from Blues to metal. With five 12AX7 preamp tubes and four 6L6 power amp tubes, the amp can be fired up to tackle heavy high-gain territory with plenty of substance. A separate 3-band EQ with controls for bass, mid-range and treble as well as a presence control for both channels are available for fine-tuning the sound. With a rich low-end, present mids, crystal-clear highs and rough high-gain voicings, the legendary heavy sound of the 90s is revived, which has been immortalized on numerous records and stages of an entire Generation!Further features of the legendary new editionThe Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier 90s 2-Channel comes with a range of features that make studio or stage use convenient: Firstly, the amp offers a total of five speaker outputs, consisting of one 16 Ohm, two 4 Ohm and two 8 Ohm outputs - secondly, the amp can be expanded with a separate power amplifier via the slave out. An effects loop is also available for the seamless use of external effects or pedalboards, while two further connections for external channel or loop switches can be found on the rear of the amp in addition to the front footswitch connection. On top of this, the Rectifier Select switch allows you to choose between Vacuum Tubes (Normal) and Silicon Diodes (Hi Power) for two types of rectification, giving you either a naturally warm sound for light Drive or an aggressive response for high-gain sounds.
