Near-Mint condition Gibson J-185 Original electric acoustic finished in classic Vintage Sunburst. Just a couple of blemishes which are invisible unless closely inspecting and bouncing light onto the surface.One of the most fabled Flat-Tops of all time, the Gibson J-185 was released back in 1951 before being discontinued in '59 after less 1000 guitars were built. Back in 2020, Gibson re-released the J-185 Original, a stunning recreation with its distinctive appearance and beautifully balanced tone.With a Sitka Spruce top on Flame Maple back and sides, it has a deep, resonant and real powerful sound. It's immediately recognisable and serves well both fingerpicking and strumming big chords. With a beautiful Rosewood fingerboard, the J-185 features mother of pearl parallelogram inlays. It's comfortable, poised and ready to play with a slim taper neck With such a stunning natural sound it really holds it own at the lower end, it offers great projection without compromising on note clarity. The Fishman electronics ensure it sounds as good amped as it does acoustically.
