The guitar left the factory in 2008 as a New Old Stock model, but has since accumulated various signs of wear and dings to be expected on a well-used instrument. The maple neck features a robust '52-style U-profile, allowing the guitar to perfectly replicate that typical playing feel of the 1950s.Because the Telecaster is considered by many to be the original workhorse, the Custom Shop 1952 Telecaster requires a pickup combination that can deliver the classic Tele twang. With two single coils, it delivers the versatile and balanced tones you would expect from a Telecaster!This instrument has been carefully inspected for originality, condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier.
