About this listing
Fender Classic Series '72 Telecaster Thinline in 3-Color Sunburst – 2016With its semi-hollow ash body, large pickguard and single F-hole, the '72 Telecaster Thinline is one of the most distinctive variations on the traditional Tele design. This 2016 Classic Series example is finished in 3-Color Sunburst and has also been upgraded with a Tonerider T1B+ pickup in the bridge and a custom Alegree pickup in the neck. The pickup changes give this particular guitar a different character from the original Fender Wide Range humbuckers, while retaining the lightweight, resonant feel that makes the Thinline design so appealing. The guitar features a semi-hollow ash body paired with a one-piece maple neck and fingerboard, with a substantial U-shaped profile, vintage-style 7.25" radius and 25.5" scale length. Other period-correct details include the 3-bolt neck joint with Micro-Tilt adjustment, bullet-style truss rod and vintage-style Fender tuning machines. This example is in Very Good condition, showing some light cosmetic signs of previous use consistent with its age, but remaining in great overall condition and playing well.Comes supplied with a gig bag.SpecsModel: Classic Series '72 Telecaster ThinlineYear: 2016Finish: 3-Color SunburstBody: Semi-Hollow AshNeck: Maple, Bolt-OnNeck Profile: U-ShapeFingerboard: MapleFingerboard Radius: 7.25"Scale Length: 25.5"Frets: 21Bridge Pickup: Tonerider T1B+Neck Pickup: Alegree CustomControls: Master Volume, Master Tone, Pickup SelectorBridge: String-Through-Body Fixed BridgeTuners: Vintage-Style FenderNeck Joint: 3-Bolt with Micro-TiltHardware: ChromeCountry of Manufacture: MexicoSerial Number: MX15667934Condition: Very GoodIncluded: Gig BagThis item is also available to view and try out at our store in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
