About this listing
This is a fantastic opportunity to own an original 1966 Fender Bandmaster. If you're looking for the sound, feel and character of a vintage Fender without taking on an amplifier that needs a complete overhaul, this is could be the one!The amplifier has undergone a comprehensive electronic restoration by myself, with the aim of preserving its original character while making it suitable for regular playing. The work has included a thorough inspection of the circuit, addressing previous modifications and replacing age-related components where necessary. Quality replacement parts have been used throughout. The Bandmaster delivers the classic Fender experience: big, articulate cleans, plenty of headroom and an excellent platform for pedals. It's a great choice for players who want vintage Fender character with enough power for rehearsal and live use.I've personally tested the amplifier extensively, including at rehearsals and gigs. It has performed beautifully, with an impressively low noise floor and a fully functioning tremolo. The entire restoration has been documented, and this record will be supplied to the buyer.Original glider feet included.Reproduction tremolo footswitch available if required. The original rear panel and tube chart are not present.Cosmetic marks and signs of use consistent with the amplifier's age.Collection and deliveryCollection is welcome, and delivery can be arranged. Please get in touch to discuss options.I'm also happy to answer questions, arrange a viewing and provide ongoing support to the new owner.
