This organ comes from Farfisa's VIP series, introduced in 1970 as the next step up from the Compact and FAST lines. VIP organs moved to a drawbar-based voicing system more reminiscent of a Hammond than the switch-and-tab layouts of earlier Farfisa organs.
The VIP 345 is a single-manual model with a full 61-key synth-action keyboard, built around a drawbar-based voicing system in place of the rocker tabs used on the Compact and FAST lines, plus the VIP series' built-in percussive effects for added rhythmic texture.
