Overview
The semi-hollow Epiphone ES-339 Pro has only been around a short while, but it pays tribute to one of the most well-known guitars in Gibson's line: the ES-335. Its smaller body size makes it more akin to the Gibson ES-339, but the instrument's roots are place firmly in one of the more well-known of Gibson's ES line. The ES-339 Pro is great for a variety of genres, from rock to jazz to country, and is particularly great for players who want a lighter, more movable guitar. The ES-339 Pro is nearly identical in construction to the initial 2011 run of ES-339s but features Alnico Pro pickups instead of Pro Bucker pickups.
