The Overdrive Preamp 250 – 50th Anniversary Edition pedal is hand-built in the USA using the authentic design of the original pedal, while adding two extra modes for modern sonic versatility.The Overdrive Preamp 250 – 50th Anniversary Edition is actually three overdrive pedals in one. Set it to Silicon mode for a faithful reproduction of the original 250’s bite and grind, courtesy of an authentic LM741 op-amp. Select Ge/ASYM mode to engage a Germanium diode for asymmetrical even-order clipping that provides a distinct tonal character with incredible touch response.
