Please read everything and look closely at the photos before buying.What I can tell youPowers on and boots all the way into the operating system from the included OS disk (Boot ROM screen, then MPC2000 Ver 1.72, then the main sequencer screen - all shown in the photos).The floppy drive read the OS disk to do that.Backlight works and the panel LEDs light up.Most or all of the buttons and the data wheel appear to respond, but the screen is too far gone for me to say that with confidence.All 16 pads are present.Known problemsThe LCD needs to be replaced. It is badly burned / discolored with a damaged patch on the left side. Text is only barely readable. See photos.The Note Variation slider is broken off and missing. The slot is empty - there is no shaft or cap.Heavy cosmetic wear: scratches, scuffs, chipped paint, grime, and some spots of surface rust on the case. It has not been cleaned or serviced.Not testedAudio outputs, sampling / inputs, pad response and sensitivity, MIDI, SCSI, headphone output, and installed memory.
