Video: Where Are the Women Builders?

From left to right: Julie Robbins, Fran Blanche, and Aisha Loe. Stills from The Pedal Movie.

Not long ago, if you looked at the pedal industry, you'd see few women working in it. In recent years, the tides have begun to shift, with more women building circuits, running companies, or otherwise working in the field.

Our video above features bonus footage from interviews Reverb undertook as part of The Pedal Movie, which arrives April 30.

In it, we talk to a number of women working in the pedal world, including EarthQuaker Devices' Julie Robbins, LOE Sounds' Aisha Loe, Heather Brown Electronicals' Heather Brown, Death By Audio's Heather Bickford, Frantone's Fran Blanche, and Alchemy Audio's Victoria Thiede to hear how they've navigated the industry.
