Supro kicked off the NAMM release announcements early this year, unveiling its new Blues King 12 amplifier back in early January. A new stompbox—the 1313 Analog Delay—followed soon after. But that wasn't all that's new with Supro. Today, on the first day of the NAMM 2019 convention, the brand is adding a new guitar to the roster—the 1275JB Tri Tone. In the video above, Reverb's Andy Martin is taking a closer look at the trifecta.
In case you missed our initial coverage from last week, the 1313 Analog Delay is a bucket-brigrade-fueled, all-analog delay that delivers everything from warm slapback echo to clean, distinct repeats up to 600 milliseconds.
Running through that stompbox is the new 1275JB Tri Tone guitar, which is a reincarnation of the brand's Triple Tone from 1959. It features two Vistatone single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions and a Supro Alnico in the bridge. And the whole chain is going into the new Supro Blues King 12—a souped-up competitor to Fender's Blues Junior—retailing at just $599 USD. It's a 15-watt, 1x12 combo with spring reverb and onboard FET boost.
