But iZotope's Nectar 2 Vocal Processing Plugin works to remedy the difficulties often associated with this arduous process.
First, Nectar 2 takes the edge off of actually laying vocal tracks by allowing for low-latency tracking, removing that long and often distracting delay time between singing and hearing it back in your headphones. You're also able to choose a variety of filtered presets (organized by music genre) for your vocal tracks, so it's even easier to marry the clean vocals with the existing style of your track. Harmonies are a breeze with Nectar's plugin, too, as you can set the key your song is in (or let Nectar detect it for you) and apply harmonies digitally. Based on your preferences, you can make the harmonies sound completely organic or totally robotized and everything in between.
