Step Inside the JAM Pedals Workshop

Though many effects heads will immediately recognize the name, for those who don't, JAM Pedals is a boutique pedal brand operating out of Athens, Greece. These high-quality effects are built with the finest components, and offerings like the Fuzz Phrase, Rattler, and RetroVibe have even earned the brand compliments from pros like Bill Frisell and Nels Cline.

Another pedal you may already be familiar with from the brand's roster is the Delay Llama—an old school, all-analog bucket brigade delay built around a circuit capable of up to 600ms of luscious, lo-fi delay. If you're not familiar, this would be the time to check it out as JAM Pedals has just released the mk.3 version.

The new Delay Llama mk.3 keeps everything that fans love about the original iteration but adds some excellent utility features like tap tempo with subdivisions and a hold function that allows players to achieve self-oscillation bliss. The bypass mode of this pedal can also be set to either trails (buffered) or true bypass with the flip of a switch.

Reverb users can get an exclusive version of the new mk.3 directly from the brand's newly opened JAM Pedals Reverb Store. This version features custom artwork hand-painted on the chassis, and will be limited to 100 units. The shop itself will also be packed with tons of new and B-stock pedals from their existing catalog, so be sure to check it out.

To celebrate the opening of the JAM Pedals Store, we wanted peel back to the curtain on their operation a bit and show fans what building pedals looks like at the JAM HQ. Scroll below to check out the videos and photos, and get your own mk.3 right here on Reverb.
