Yesterday, PRS announced its newest SE lineup, which includes the return of a finish technique the brand used briefly in the late '80s. As you can see in the image below, it is quite a sight to behold.
The new "Multi-Foil" finish is made by layering multiple finishes on top of one another to create wild, shifting hues across the body. While the earlier versions from the 1980s — when the finish was known as "Multi-Metal" — can command high prices on Reverb, the new multi-foil SEs will be far more affordable.
