Following a recent trend of new offset models, Fender launched a fresh series of Duo-Sonics and Mustangs at Summer NAMM in Nashville this year. The line includes an updated Mustang with P-90 pickups, a set of Duo-Sonics with varying pickup configurations, and a short-scale Mustang bass. All three models channel original releases from the ‘60s, and are being produced in a number of funky finishes. These guitars will be produced in Fender’s Mexican factory, so they will come in at prices closer to the Standard series.
