EQD Goes Eurorack with the Afterneath Reverb Module | NAMM 2020

EarthQuaker Devices has been making excellent and innovative pedals from their home base in Ohio for many years now, and the stompboxes seem to just keep getting sweeter. Today, however, we have some special news about a new piece of gear that sees EQD stepping into a brand-new realm—Eurorack—with the Afterneath Reverb Eurorack Module.

The first Eurorack module to be made by the company will be a port over of the brand's famous Afterneath Otherwordly Reverberation Machine—a powerful, ethereal reverb that's popular among both guitarists and synthesists.

The Afterneath pedal works by using a series of short delay lines to create expansive, modulated soundscapes, and the Eurorack model promises the same character with even more robust control. Players are given voltage control over every key control—drag, mode, diffuse, and length—and, for the reflect parameter, there's also a send/return circuit.

Hear the module in action in the video above. The Afterneath Reverb Eurorack Module is available for pre-order now for $249 USD.
