Chase Bliss Preamp MKII Automatone & Blooper Now Available for Pre-Order | NAMM 2020

Effects brand fan favorite Chase Bliss Audio has some exciting news for us today, in the days just before the NAMM show kicks off in Anaheim: The new Automatone and long-awaited Blooper are now officially available for pre-order.

The Blooper is a collaborative effort between Chase Bliss, 3 Degrees Audio, and KNOBs that was announced at last year's NAMM show in Anaheim. There, the brand unveiled plans for the Blooper and pledged to release a progress update video each month so that fans could follow along with the pedal's design and production process.

Now, after a year of exciting updates and an overwhelmingly successful Kickstarter campaign, the Blooper is available for pre-order with an expected ship date of March 17.

Also available for pre-order is the new Preamp MKII Automatone—a standard production Chase Bliss Audio release that debuted at last year's NAMM in prototype form. This exciting pedal was designed in collaboration with Chris Benson of Benson Amps and blends a Benson preamp with a Chase Bliss Audio Condor, Faves MIDI Controller (for selecting presets), and a fuzz circuit.

The Automatone part of it comes in with its motorized knobs that adjust themselves as you shift through the Preamp's (up to 30 onboard) presets. It also features variable routing, diode clipping control, options for open/gated fuzz, and mids resonance settings. This pedal is expected to start shipping in May.
