First Listen: Chase Bliss Brothers Analog Gain Stage Pedal at NAMM 2017

With NAMM 2017 kicking off bright and early in Anaheim on Thursday, Chase Bliss Audio unveiled their new overdrive pedal called the Brothers Analog Gainstage. A design collaboration between Chase Bliss and Resonant Audio Design, this pedal is absolutely packed with features – it does almost everything.

The Brothers Analog Gainstage features two separate channels that can be stacked or mixed in parallel. Both channels feature an overdrive and fuzz with Channel A featuring a JFET based boost and Channel B featuring an IC based boost. Both channels feature a momentary engage/kill mode.

The pedal is packed with other features including 33 different savable routing patterns, 130 savable presets – two onboard, six via the "faves" switch, and 122 via MIDI. This pedal can also be operated as a true bypass pedal or a buffered bypass pedal by the flip of the dip switch.

For a closer look at the pedal, check out our demo of the pedal above. The Brothers Analog Gainstage will retail for $349, and preorders start on February 20th, so start pinching those pennies.
