This new batch of Hiwatt Hi-5 amp heads feature a special, striking red tolex that's so bright, it'll attract anyone's attention. Under the tolex, you'll find the same Hi-5 you know and love: a lightweight, dual-channel head with a bark that matches its bite.
The amp head is only five watts, making it great for practice, small performances, and even studio recording sessions. It features a clean channel with a bright, sparkly, and characteristically Hiwatt voicing and an overdrive channel that can get you lightly compressed breakup to a deep, aggressive growl.
It's packed with one ECC83 (12AX7) and one EL84 and also includes a gain channel volume, two-band EQ that both channels share, and both a standby and mains switch. The new red Hiwatt Hi-5 is available now on Reverb.
