Its built-in vintage American clean channel, combined with two additional channels from your favorite Synergy preamp module, makes it a powerful and versatile instrument.Each all-tube, two-channel module is equipped with two 12AX7 tubes and incorporates the exact preamp circuitry of the legendary amp it's based on. In most cases, the Synergy module offers more features than the original amp. The Synergy engineering team works closely with each partner brand to design modules that faithfully reproduce the sound of their renowned amp model.NEXT-LEVEL POWER CONTROLThe SYN-20IR 1x12" combo amp features unique STRUCTURE and REACTANCE controls to fine-tune the response of its all-analog power amp stage. The revolutionary STRUCTURE function optimizes the amp head for each channel by offering three separate power and feedback amplifier configurations, assignable to each of the amp's channels. The STRUTURE function significantly alters the profile and overall character of the SYN-20IR 1x12" combo amp.Three Structure modes are available:Mode A: Balanced feedback for a clear and punchy sound.Mode B: Vintage-style phase inverter with smooth mids and bright, crystalline highs.Mode C: Modern Hi-Fi-style phase inverter and low feedback resistance for a modern, precise sound with solid bass and deeper highs.The REACTANCE function is similar to a presence control, but with a dynamic response and a variable phase inverter that simultaneously shapes the mid and high frequencies. This powerful control allows you to tailor the sound to the selected module and Structure setting.3-BUTTON MIDI PEDAL – MIDI CONTROLThe SYN-20IR 1x12" combo amp comes with an easy-to-use 3-button MIDI foot pedal that allows you to to save and access any combination of channels, amp structures, and built-in impulse responses. With a simple tap of your foot, you can, for example, switch from the high-gain overdrive of your module (with a 4x12 impulse response and C structure mode) to the amp's built-in clean channel (via a vintage 1x12 impulse response and open-tone A structure mode).You can also connect external MIDI switches and controllers, giving you access to 128 custom presets.
