The original flat sound of the bass from the 1960s!If you want to get the real McCartney sound, the only way is to have a Hofner (violin or otherwise) from that era, and this original 500/2 Club model from 1964 is just the right choice, very rare to find, especially those built before 1965.In good condition both aesthetically and functionally considering the age of this instrument, but with much more beautiful wood and grain than those currently on the market. Obviously, there are many signs of use and a white plastic “finger rest” installed by the first owner. Everything is functional and original. The only flaw is that the neck pickup is very high and cannot be lowered, so if you play the E string above the 14th fret, the sound cuts out a little (not that it matters on a bass like this).Comes with a non-original padded bag, without pickguard.
