This lightning-fast, aggressive module brings the spirit of the acclaimed Purple Audio MC77 and classic 1176-style limiting directly to your 500-series rack.It features premium class-A and class-AB discrete op-amps, a custom hexafilar nickel and steel output transformer, tri-color LED metering, and five switchable ratios—including the legendary, aggressive "All Buttons In" (∞:1) mode for smashing drums. It is an absolute workhorse on lead vocals, punchy snares, and aggressive bass guitars.
