The Collings I35 is a unique modern tribute to the heritage of the double cutaway semi-hollow electric guitar. This Deluxe model sets itself apart with it's amber Sunburst finish. It also features a grained ivoroid-bound body, fingerboard, and peghead, along with our custom ivoroid top hat knobs, pickup rings, and truss rod cover.
This beauty has a few more details that catch the eye. The Broken Glass Mother of Pearl inlays and Mother of Pearl White Rose and Collings logo in the headstock make this guitar a sight to behold.
The I35’s design pairs a hollowed out mahogany body with a maple center block for a tonal response that is complex and quick with an “airy” character. The I35’s carved Quilted maple top includes high arches and ample re-curve, allowing the best qualities of the solid wood to shine through in its tone. Amplified via Lollar Low Wind Imperial Humbuckers.
