A beautiful Gibson L-3 from 1920!

This was Gibson’s top of the line small body round hole archtop at the time. it’s in fantastic shape for its age, it’s had a refret which is really nicely done and a new bone nut. The guitar still features its original pick guard with one original holder still intact.

The original pat pending tailpiece with a newer string retainer, original finish and replacement 3 in line Kluson machine heads from the 1960’s. It also includes the original hardcase which is still in nice shape and also a nice old heavy duty leather cover for the case.

There are a few repaired cracks which are well done and sturdy including a centerline top crack and two side cracks.

The guitar plays very nicely and nails that old time blues and swing sound perfectly!
