Cette caisse claire date des année 40 !!!

Il s'agit d'un modèle « LEEDY BROADWAY DUAL » Modifié.

A la base, cette caisse claire était équipée de 2 timbres ( Un timbre parallèle sur la peau du dessous et un timbre interne sur la peau du dessus ! ) Malheureusement quand j'ai acquis cette caisse claire il manquait des tas de pièces et il m'était impossible de la remonter en état d'origine. J'ai donc installé un timbre « classique » Pure Sound (25 Brins) et un déclencheur « Ludwig » ainsi qu'une contrepartie « DW » à 3 positions pré-règlées.

1 041VINTAGE LEEDY BROADWAY SNARE DRUM This snare drum dates back to the 1940s! It is a modified "LEEDY BROADWAY DUAL" model. Originally, this snare was equipped with two sets of snare wires (a parallel system on the bottom head and an internal system on the top head!). Unfortunately, when I acquired the drum, many parts were missing, making it impossible to restore it to its original condition. I therefore installed a "classic" PureSound snare wire set (25 strands), a Ludwig throw-off, and a DW butt plate with three preset positions. Shell: Nickel-plated solid brass, 14" x 6.5", 2 x 8 tension rods. I am including some parts related to the original dual-throw-off systems. Available to test in Castries (34160). Price: €280 (Firm).
