The Carina analog phaser creates a wide range of deep and lush phaser textures in a small pedal format. This original design comes from years of experimenting with various topologies, and the result is an analog six stage phaser that performs wonderfully for bass, electric guitar, keys and synth.
The feedback control determines the depth of the effect. The rate control determines the speed of the phaser. But what makes the Carina really stand out is the sweep control. The sweep control shifts the focus of the phasing across the audio spectrum, ranging from ultra deep low end phasing to high frequency sparkle. What would ordinarily be a fixed range in other phasers, the Carina gives you control over what frequencies are affected, completely changing the character of the effect.
The pedal requires a 9V DC power supply (not included). The DC supply should be a standard Boss style connector, center negative polarity. The current draw is approximately 10 mA.
Carina has a true bypass switch.
