This a the real deal. This 1958 Fender Princeton chassis has many original parts (Power transformer, resistors, jacks, knobs, light and pots) The stamped serial number on the chassis puts it around early to mid 1958. The output transformer has no codes and is definitely an old replacement. The original power transformer is clearly stamped. Original pots 304738. Year 1957 and 38th week.
It has been totally recapped with top notch and spec correct caps. You can plug it and GO without worrying about blowing up anything. Will mount directly into a vintage fender tweed Princeton cabinet or you can make it a head or maybe make a custom cab. It’s up to you of course.
A long 3 prong cord has been added too for safety.
If you want a project or have an old Fender cabinet from this era, here is the chance to own a real deal Fender tweed Princeton working chassis. It’s quiet at idle and sounds truly fantastic. It’s very loud for a little guy as well.
What you see is what you get. Vintage tubes included.
