Up for sale is a Fender Japan ST-72 Stratocaster, a vintage-inspired model that captures the classic 70s aesthetic with its large headstock and three-bolt neck joint. Crafted in Japan with the excellent quality known of Fender MIJ models, this beauty has traditional looks coupled with modern playability, having a balanced and comfortable feel. The body is made of lightweight basswood and the color is a beautiful "aged" candy apple red, paired with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Features include one volume, two tone controls, and a five-way pickup selector, delivering the versatile sound options a Stratocaster is known for. The serial number indicates a production date in the 2010-2011 time frame and the guitar is in very good condition with minor surface scratches and small dings as shown that are consistent of a 15+ year-old guitar. The guitar plays wonderfully, with frets that have plenty of life remaining and the electronics are fully functional. Weighing approximately 7.8 pounds (3.5 kg), this instrument combines vintage charm with reliable performance.
Here's that annoying legal stuff. I've described this guitar as best as I can; please view the photographs, they are part of the description. By all means, if you have a question, please ask. There are no returns unless something is demonstrably not as I described it. I have priced it very reasonably and the price includes an aftermarket hard shell case and I'll ship it and insure it FREE anywhere (ground, standard) in the continental USA.
