Up for sale is a custom 1U racked SSL 4000 E Series Channel Strip, professionally converted and built by Rhoades Audio Designs (RAD).

This unit is loaded with 100% genuine vintage Solid State Logic console cards pulled directly from an original 4000 E desk, housing a complete channel path, Mic/Line Preamp, "Brown Knob" EQ, and VCA Dynamics alongside an external dedicated power supply unit (PSU).

Condition & Functionality:

• Cosmetic & Mechanical Notes:
• • Line Gain Knob: Missing knob (the potentiometer shaft itself is intact and fully functional; just needs a replacement knob).
  • Mic Gain & LMF Q Knobs: Caps have cracks. They remain intact and functional, though they sit slightly loose on the pot shafts due to the age of the original vintage plastic.
  • Overall chassis and faceplate are in clean condition with standard minor wear.
• Operational: Tested and fully functional. All pots, switches, and meters operate as expected with clean audio pass-through and authentic console performance.
