I'm a working DJ, and these have been my dedicated ceremony and cocktail hour speakers, so they've been used regularly in a professional environment. They work exactly as they should with no performance issues whatsoever. Cosmetically, they have the normal scuffs and signs of use you'd expect from gigged equipment, but nothing that affects their sound or reliability.

If you're familiar with the MAUI 5, you already know what they're designed for. These are not high-SPL main speakers for a packed dance floor. Where they shine is in ceremonies, cocktail hours, corporate events, restaurants, smaller venues, presentations, and anywhere you need clean, full-range sound in an incredibly portable package.
