I am first trying this listing for the whole package of these drivers, to see if there is anyone looking to buy a large quantity of them together.

The DP12-G is the version with metal grills.

The metal grills are press fit into the driver frame, not permanent, and the grills are removable by using a pointed pick to pull the grill out of the driver frame and not harming the metal grill, and the grill can be pressed back into the driver frame.

These drivers came from a speaker company years ago, that closed their company, and I bought many Sawafuji drivers from the company.

I first like to get all these drivers sold together as a combined purchase, before deciding on selling the cases individually.

These Sawafuji drivers were made in Japan in the 1980's, up to the early 1990's, and Sawafuji had a speaker company in California called Dynawave, that made di-pole speaker systems using multiple of these drivers, together with the Dynaplete midranges and tweeters.

Also, the Melos Audio company built their own speakers in the 1980's, called the Pipedreams speaker line array, using a line array of 12 DP-12 with 16 Panasonic ribbon tweeters,

for example is the last two photos showing a smaller model speakers made with the Sawafuji drivers and Panasonic ribbon tweeters in a line array, I used to have in my audio system, and sounded incredible, and efficient enough to work great with push-pull or single ended 300B tube amplifiers, shown in the last 2 photos.

The sound quality is really really good!

Being that these are a flat driver, there's no sound coloration from a flat surface, because there's no cone.

The diaphragm is driven by 9 voice coils, to create a linear surface travel, with great dynamics and wide bandwidth.

These drivers are very fast, very dynamic, very clear, natural, and no cone colonization to the sound, because the diaphragm not a cone.

The flat design also makes these possible to mount them flat to the wall, without an enclosure, to use as midranges.

If bass and midrange is needed, then they require an enclosure, or in large quantities will work well as a dipole on a flat baffle.

I am selling off my whole inventory on all my Sawafuji drivers, due to moving later this year.

All the drivers are listed on ebay in groups, that are best match eachother.

I did sound test a few from each case with music at 5 watts, and sound clear and sounds like they are working good.

These are just a few of them of the many drivers available, so here's your chance to get lots of them together, because they are very hard to find anymore.

I highly recommend building a pair of line array speaker cabinets similar to the ones in the last photos,

you will be very impressed on how great they will sound with ribbon tweeters.

For shipping each case, will require double boxing with sheets of Styrofoam added for good protection for shipping, with box size of 18 x 16 x 12 inches, and each box total weight 40 pounds each, X7 boxes, plus 25 pounds for the partial box of 12 drivers.

Or if you arrange freight pick up, we can have them put on a 42 X 42 inch pallet, and strapped, and shrink wrapped to the pallet.
