This iconic slant cabinet was engineered specifically for Marshall's legendary Vintage Modern series (produced 2007–2013) to deliver authentic old-school Plexi dynamics with a smooth, fat, and deeply harmonic tone.
Unlike a standard Marshall 1960A cabinet, the 425A is factory-equipped with four 12-inch Celestion G12C 25-watt Greenback speakers. These highly sought-after reissue speakers were co-developed by Marshall and Celestion to recreate the late-60s "Pulsonic" cone tone for the Limited Edition Jimi Hendrix Super100JH stack. They sound exceptionally warm, woody, and articulate.
