Up for sale is a vintage Yamaha YAS-23 alto saxophone made in Japan. This is one of the earlier Japanese made models that Yamaha is well known for, and it has been well cared for.

The plating is in very good condition with no lacquer loss. The body is free of dents and is in excellent cosmetic condition overall, with only a few minor scratches from normal use. The neck has a few small dings, but nothing that affects playability.

The saxophone is mechanically in good condition. All but two pads are in good shape. The only repairs it currently needs are the replacement of the two pads shown in the photos. Aside from that, the instrument is clean and ready for its next owner.

The sale includes the original Yamaha hard case.
