Vintage 1980s Tascam Porta Five 5 Ministudio Portable 4 Track Cassette Recorder Clean Comes with Power supply!

Unit is very clean cosmetically as you can see. The 4 track works great as is however i want to stress that this is 1980s technology and not a pro tools or digital unit. 4 tracks are HISSY by nature/design and that may bother some people used to the cleanness of protools and digital boxes. To me i used to love this thing and recording this way back in the day--- but its difficult to go back to retro recording as things simply take longer to do and harder to get a good "analog warm" sound. So if you dont know about these things please do your research. They have the power to sound amazing but it can require a lot of knowledge with vintage gear and luck to get there. Even a fully working 4 track like this will have SOME overall issues that may or may not need some attention. A couple of the pots are scratchy. buttons may stick. Sliders may occasionally crackly. Folks its all part of it if you go this route in 2026. Reccomend you use killer pres and mics and don't do a lot of overdubbing but thats just me. Good luck
