1964 Fender Vibrolux Reverb – Professionally Restored – Celestion Gold & Jensen

Up for sale is a vintage 1964 Fender Vibrolux Reverb that has been thoughtfully restored into an outstanding player while preserving as much of its original character as possible.

When I acquired this amp, it was in rough condition. My goal was to retain the vintage soul of the amplifier while making it reliable, great sounding, and ready for many more years of use.

Restoration & Upgrades

• Original paper capacitors have been replaced for improved reliability and performance.
• Output transformer has been replaced.
• Cabinet has been replaced due to the condition of the original enclosure.
• The original front grille cloth, rear panels, and original cabinet hardware were carefully retained and installed on the replacement cabinet to preserve the amp's vintage appearance.
• Loaded with one Celestion Gold speaker and one Jensen speaker.

Condition

An excellent vintage Vibrolux Reverb that has been restored to be enjoyed and played. Cosmetically it shows the honest character you'd expect from a 1964 amplifier, and it delivers the classic blackface Fender tone these amps are famous for.

The combination of the Celestion Gold and Jensen speaker provides incredible cleans, lush reverb, beautiful tremolo, and smooth breakup when pushed. Whether you're playing blues, country, rock, or jazz, this amp has the dynamic response and warmth that made the Vibrolux Reverb a legend.
