Vintage 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb Combo Amp - Black Panel AB763 Circuit w/ Footswitch

#A05742, sticker code OD which puts this one at April 1965.

Very special old Blackface Deluxe, with the "Fender Electric Instrument Co." backplate and AB763 circuit. Owned by a local musician who passed it to his son which we acquired it from. Originally purchased at Wiley Music in Wichita, and according to the son, his father had gigged with it quite a bit, even playing at the Grand Ole Opry.

Has some wear/scuffs but is in very good condition with no major damage.

Some of the capacitors, handle and grill cloth have been replaced, and has had a 3-prong cord installed. Has also had the power transformer replaced w/ a Fender/Schumacher 1972 unit and a non-original 1971 Fender Oxford speaker, likely in the early '70s. Based on the codes, the rest of the transformers and reverb tank are original to the amp (please see pictures).

Most of the tubes appear to be original GE and RCA tubes, except for one 12AX7 replacement tube.

*If desired we can sell a complete set of replacement tubes separately, since the original tubes work but are old and have some noise when turned on.

Comes with original footswitch.
