A beautiful example of one of Sony’s finest early direct-drive turntables. Produced in the early 1970s, the PS-2250 was built to audiophile standards with exceptional engineering, featuring a heavy die-cast aluminium platter, servo-controlled direct-drive motor, precision static-balanced tonearm, adjustable pitch control, and built-in stroboscope for accurate speed adjustment. 

Unlike many modern lightweight turntables, the PS-2250 is solidly constructed at over 11kg, delivering excellent speed stability, low rumble, and a refined, detailed sound. Its classic timber plinth and brushed aluminium finish make it as attractive as it is capable.
