Fender Miniature 1957 Black Stratocaster Relic (approx. 2010)

This is a miniature 1957 Fender Stratocaster, made by Fender Japan in approximately 2010. I opened up the box to take photos of the contents but please note that the guitar itself has not been removed from the packaging.

I don't know much about the history of this series. There seem to be several models that were made by Fender Japan approximately 15 years ago. I bought it new around 2010 and it has been stored ever since (nonsmoking home).

The guitar is different from the more commonly seen "Axe Heaven" brand miniatures. It is made of plastic, not wood, and is also smaller. The overall faithfulness to the original is far better than Axe Heaven, however, and the "relic" details are very good. As you can see from the photos, the package also contains a guitar stand, a strap, and a tremolo cover.
