Newly handbuilt UREI stereo transformer mix bus box using vintage 1979 matched pair Urei 1178 line output transformers, one of the best & most used pieces of gear used on mix/master bus 70s to present known for their great transformer sound. Engineers such as Chris Lord Alge and others have mixed or mastered hundreds if not thousands of classic tracks & albums thru them from their debut in the later 70s on thru the 80s/90s and still today for those in the know, often set for very little compression if any, as their punchy rich steel iron core transformers providing most of the 1178's tight solid low end punch and harmonic presence to mixes.
The metal blue UREI logo badge from the 1979 unit completes the look, mounted on top. Full wide freq range 20Hz to 20kHz (see last pic of the original vintage urei spec sheet on them). All passive, no power needed. Fully balanced german made black XLRs, stainless steel, shielded internal wiring, stainless steel screws.
