1950s Gibson Bonnet Knobs Pair – Original Vintage Black Bonnet Knobs
Up for sale is a genuine pair of original 1950s Gibson bonnet knobs. These are the classic black bonnet style with silver/white numbering and indicator lines, correct for a variety of Gibson guitars from the 1950s.
Both knobs are in very nice vintage condition with honest wear and a beautiful natural patina that only decades of age can produce. The numbers remain clearly legible, the plastic retains a rich vintage appearance, and the splined inserts are intact for proper fit and function.
These are an excellent choice for restoring a vintage Gibson, replacing later reproduction parts, or completing the look of a period-correct Les Paul, ES model, archtop, or other 1950s Gibson instrument. Original Gibson knobs from this era continue to become increasingly difficult to find, especially as a matching pair in this condition.
