Cymatic Audio uTrack24 professional 24-channel multitrack recorder, player and USB audio interface with the valuable MADI option card installed.

The uTrack24 can record up to 24 individual tracks at 24-bit/48 kHz directly to a compatible USB drive, without requiring a computer. It can also provide 24-track playback for backing tracks, live production and virtual sound checks. When connected to a Mac or PC, it functions as a 24-input/24-output USB audio interface. At 88.2 or 96 kHz, it operates with up to eight channels.

The installed MADI card adds both coaxial BNC and optical MADI input and output, allowing the recorder to connect directly with MADI-equipped consoles, stage boxes and recording systems. It supports routing from a 56- or 64-channel MADI stream to the uTrack24’s 24 recorder tracks, as well as routing its 24 playback tracks back into a MADI stream. The card also provides an incoming MADI loop output, and the unit’s 24 analog outputs remain available while using the MADI output.

Additional features include balanced 24-channel analog input and output through DB25 connectors, word-clock input and output, internal DSP monitoring, dedicated headphone and control-room outputs, MIDI playback, Ethernet remote-control capability and illuminated front-panel transport controls.

This is a particularly useful standalone recorder for live multitrack capture, virtual sound checks, location recording, backing-track playback and integration with professional MADI systems. The installed MADI card is an important upgrade and is included with the unit.
