This model recreates one of the most famous Burst guitars in history—the legendary Les Paul originally owned by Joe Perry, later owned by Slash, and eventually returned to Joe Perry. Gibson and Tom Murphy did an incredible job capturing the character, vibe, and personality of that iconic instrument.

The aging on this guitar is truly exceptional. The amount of detail and realism in the finish work is outstanding, giving it the look and feel of a well-loved vintage Burst without sacrificing playability. Bravo Tom Murphy—this is a perfect example of why these pre-Murphy Lab aged guitars are so highly regarded.

The top on this guitar is fantastic, with beautiful figuring and tons of movement. More importantly, it is an extremely resonant instrument that sounds as good as it looks. This is one of those guitars that immediately feels special when you pick it up.
