The Fender Blackface Champ Amp is considered by many the quintessential small wattage amp. At 5 watts it gives that classic smooth Fender chime yet offering a natural mean overdrive when cranked while still at a lower volumes making it perfect for studios, small gigs, or home. A great small amp for guitar or harmonica. This amp: Serial number AO6258, AA764 circuitry, 5watt, single-ended Class A design featuring one original RCA Electron 6V6 tube (USA) and an original Jensen Special 8” speaker. Input transformer # 606539 (65), Output transformer # 606548 (65), speaker # 242564 (65). I appraised this amp in 2013 after being serviced by Andrews Amp Lab, Atlanta; 1- can capacitor, 3- 22uF capacitors and 1- 12Ax7/EC JJ preamp tube. It’s as clean today with only a few hours of in home play since. Thanks
