A particularly desirable and hard-to-find 2004 Gibson Memphis Yamano ’60 ES-335 Block in Iced Tea Sunburst, made for the Japanese market to Yamano’s specially ordered specification. The “Y” designation on the original ES-335 label, visible through the F-hole, confirms its Yamano-exclusive status. Featuring classic block inlays, a slim ’60s-profile mahogany neck and the original Burstbucker Pro 1 & 2 PAF-style humbuckers, this is a lovely example of a relatively uncommon Memphis-era ES-335. The guitar is completely original, including its electronics and hardware, with no breaks or repairs, and remains in very good condition for its 22 years. There is attractive lacquer checking and honest play wear, including some small marks and chips to the binding and a few small finish marks/dings to the back of the neck, all shown clearly in the photographs. The neck and frets are in very good condition with minimal fret wear, everything works exactly as it should, and the guitar comes complete with its Gibson ES hard case.

Condition

Very good condition for a guitar of this age, with normal cosmetic signs of use including lacquer checking, light surface marks, some small marks/chips to the binding and several small finish marks/dings on the back of the neck. These have been photographed clearly as part of the listing. The frets show minimal wear, the original nickel hardware remains in very good condition, and the guitar is fully functional with no breaks or repairs.
