Low Hours on this unit. I am the original owner of this cassette player. I just replaced the main belts and capstan wheel and it played the only tape I still own (from 1981) perfectly.
I never used this very often as I was more of a vinyl guy and had an extensive album collection and only a few cassette tapes at any given time.
Belts had wasted away, but I cleaned everything inside and out as well as the heads. Not professionally serviced but I know what I am doing. I regularly build, repair and service high tech audio equipment as a hobby for friends, coworkers and family.
