Original, genuine Kurzweil Battery Compartment Box Assembly removed from a K2500XS synthesizer workstation. This holds the three standard AA batteries responsible for maintaining the system's user program memory and battery-backed settings when powered down.
This is the complete assembly, which is rarely found intact with all matching components.
Includes:
Main 3-cell AA battery box housing.
Original factory twisted red/black wire lead harness with the white motherboard connector attached.
Original snap-in plastic battery compartment access door cover.
Condition: Excellent, clean shape.
No signs of typical acid leak damage, rust, or crusty corrosion on the internal metal contact springs.
Physically solid: The locking tab on the battery door and the structural mount clips on the box housing are 100% unbroken and ready to pop right back into your synth's bottom shell.
