I’ve owned this Sub Phatty for about eight years, and it was my very first hardware synthesizer. It’s been a fantastic instrument and was what really started my journey into making music. As my studio has gradually shifted toward a Eurorack focused setup, I find that every patch I make is make on the sub is redundant.
The only cosmetic issue worth mentioning is the common sticky/rubbery coating on the side panels that many Sub Phattys develop over time. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect functionality. Everything else is in very good condition with normal signs of careful use for its age. Please review the photos for the exact condition.
The Sub Phatty delivers everything you’d expect from a Moog: huge basses, expressive leads, a pair of powerful analog oscillators, the classic Moog ladder filter, sub oscillator, multidrive, and an intuitive hands-on interface.
Includes:
- Moog Sub Phatty
- Original power supply
This is a difficult one for me to let go of because of the memories attached to it, but I’d love for it to go to someone who will actually play it and give it a good home. Feel free to reach out with any questions or if you’d like additional photos.
