RCA Varacoustic Ribbon Microphone MI-6203

In spectacular condition. gone over by Mister Clarence Cain years ago. Ribbon replaced and of course new XLR Cable. Pretty good friends with Clarence and I always took his advice. He suggested not doing anything to it it didn’t need because it was in pretty darn great shape and condition as far as appearance and sound so I kept it as original as I could. Same silk from when it was produced because I felt it retained its vintage charm and Character. Cable and Ribbon and that’s it. Excellent choice of microphone for ANY Source. I’ve never used it and not used the track in whatever type of material I put through it. ALWAYS and I mean always delivered. Drums and Guitars Especially benefit from this ribbon. Just covers the sound in all kinds of character. I’ve sold quite a few Ribbons on here and my feedback speaks for itself. I’ve recorded records for almost 30 years and I only sell the finest in musical instruments and recording equipment. We’ve recently downsized our studio and are doing more mixing and less recording so we’re letting go of some great vintage goodies. This Ribbon mic is no exception. This is the low impedance version with the extra Taps on the transformer if you need to convert to a high impedance source. The more “sought after“ version. We love our ribbon mics and will miss it but it’s time to pass it on to the next Hendrix or Cobain !! Not trying to get rich off it either.
